Belle Glade is the largest of the Glades communities on the southeast shore of Lake Okeechobee, a farming town surrounded by sugarcane. It's a long drive from our Tamarac base, so we schedule visits here in advance. Homes are mostly modest single-family houses and apartments.
Typical Belle Glade carpet problems
Long use relaxes carpet. A power-stretch tightens it.
Edges against tile fray. We trim and secure them.
Fine soil wears carpet near doors. Repair and cleaning together help.
