A name earned one neighbor at a time
Word of Mouth Carpet Restorations is a family-owned company based in Tamarac, Florida, operated by WOM Cleaning, Inc. and led by owner Eric Vander Wiede. The name isn't a slogan. It's how the business grew: one customer telling a neighbor, a friend, a building manager. That only works if the work is good, the price is fair and the crew is someone you're happy to have in your home.
Today we work across Palm Beach County, Broward County and northern Miami-Dade, from Jupiter to Aventura. Our reviews mention people by name, like Eric, Greg, Matt, Keith and Laura in the office, because customers remember who showed up and how they were treated.
Repair specialists first
Most carpet companies clean. Repair is an add-on, if they do it at all. For us it's the core of the trade. Carpet repair, power re-stretching, patching, seam and transition repair and pet-damage repair take skill and the right tools: power stretchers, seaming irons, heat-activated tape and a good eye for pile direction. Done well, the repair disappears.
We also offer deep carpet cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning and more, so a room can be repaired and cleaned in the same visit. Cleaning gets the right tools too: a tile spinner for tile and grout, and a UV light to find pet urine you can't see.
IICRC-certified technicians
Every Word of Mouth technician is certified by the IICRC, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. The IICRC sets the standards the cleaning and restoration industry works by, so the person who comes to your home has been trained and certified, not just handed a machine.
How we work
If cleaning will fix it, we say so. If replacement truly makes more sense than repair, we say that too.
You get an exact price at the free estimate. Our typical repair prices are published.
Furniture moved with care, condo and HOA rules followed, and the work area left clean.
Repairs and re-stretching are covered by our Lifetime Labor Guarantee.
